Four Ways to Fall in Love with Fall

Four Ways to Fall in Love with Fall

Surround yourself in the smell of fireside nights. Let a shiny, star-lit sky wrap you in its warm embrace. Let the changing leaves leave your soul content and feel warm all over. Fall is finally here and, at Glade®, we're delighting in one of our favorite seasons.

1. Bring S'mores Indoors

It's a gooey and sweet delicious treat that's been around for generations. Nothing brings back memories of childhood more than s'mores and now that the weather is starting to change, why not bring s'mores indoors? It's easy:

  • Line a pizza pan with graham crackers.
  • Add a layer of chocolate chips.
  • Top with mini marshmallows and toast in the broiler until melted.

Enjoy!

2. Have A Hoot With This Craft

Whether it’s cold weather craft night with your girlfriends or you have some restless kids to entertain, it’s always fun to make crafts together. Try out these adorable owls. They're easy and mess-free. Plus you will have some darling decorations when you’re done!

What You’ll Need:
  • Cardboard (or an empty cereal box)
  • Water bottle lids
  • Yarn or twine
  • Buttons & beads
  • Hole punch
  • Glue
  • Patterned or construction paper
What To Do:
  1. Trace a circle approximately 3 – 5″ on a piece of cardboard and cut it out.
  2. Using your patterned or construction paper, cut a small circle then cut it in half to make wings so your owl can take flight!
  3. Cut a small triangle for the beak and a semi-circle for the belly.
  4. For the eyes, cut paper circles that are a little larger than the water bottle lids. Glue the water bottle lids, flat side down, on to the paper circles. Glue buttons inside the lids and lastly, glue a small bead on the button for the pupil.
  5. Dab dots of glue on the cardboard body and attach the eyes, wings, belly, and beak.
  6. Tie the two ends of twine together and feed it through the hole in the cardboard, looping the other end through the twine and pulling it tight to form a pendant knot.

3. Immerse Yourself in That Warm Fall Feeling

Warm up some apple juice on the stove. Add cloves, oranges and cinnamon sticks, strain and enjoy! Plus it will make your home smell amazing. Spark that feeling of warmth all over with the smell of fruit and cinnamon.

4. Fill Your Home with Fall

Create that fall vibe in a contemporary way by bringing all the beautiful colors of the season into your home. Follow these simple steps and you'll have a fantastic fall wonderland in no time.

Have Your Final Harvest Indoors
